TEACHER OF THE YEAR
Beginning in 2006, the M.T. and Helen Gholston Charitable Trust, has donated $10,500. each year to the Clinton Public School Foundation to provide the Teacher of the Year Awards. The Gholston Teacher Awards provide a $1,000 honorarium to the finalists from each school site and an additional $5,000 award to the district-wide winner. The district winner also receives $500 from CPSF for his/her classroom account making this award worth $6,500 to one outstanding teacher every year.
CPSF is proud to say that with the help of the Gholston Trust we have given $199,000. directly to Clinton Teachers through this program.
2024-2025 District Teacher of the Year is Rhett Blundell from Clinton Middle School.
