NEW TEACHER INCENTIVE PROGRAM
The New Teacher Incentive Program began in 2020 thanks to a bequest from Clinton educator, Goldie Pettle. The program is a partnership with Clinton Public Schools designed to help off-set the expenses involved with relocation and setting up a new classroom. The cash incentive will be matched in varying amounts each year by CPS as funding allows.
New Teachers are eligible for this incentive at the start of each fall semester if they:
CPS will supply a list of eligible new educators to the Foundation every summer. No application to the program is necessary.
New Teachers are eligible for this incentive at the start of each fall semester if they:
- Did not teach for Clinton Public Schools the previous year.
- Are a full-time classroom teachers.
- Have not ever received the New Teacher Incentive from CPSF in the past.
