FALL 2007 GRANTS
The Clinton Public School Foundation awarded three grants, totaling $6124, to Clinton Public School teachers in October 2007.

Teach Me and I'll Show Reading Achievements Southwest Elementary teacher Belinda Thacker was awarded $2684 to purchase SRA Reading Laboratory Kits for second grade classrooms.
Art in the Real World Washington Elementary teacher Wendi Lewis was awarded $2440 for her project which involves bringing a local artist to the school to interact with the students about the artistic process, followed by a field trip for all fifth and sixth graders to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, so that they can experience the power of art firsthand.
Dream Dancing II Washington Elementary teachers Yvonne Covey and Joe Thomas received an additional $1000 grant for their successful ballroom dancing project for fifth and sixth grade students.
